We are currently seeking to fill an exciting role for a Fleet and MRO Manager to join the Adour Programme team within Defence in Bristol.
You will be working within the UK&I Mature Programmes organisation. The primary purpose of this part of the organisation is to provide aftermarket services to the worldwide Adour customer base, as part of the organisation responsible for all aspects of product delivery.
The Fleet and MRO Manager is a technical role with significant requirement for collaborative working, with the expectation of working effectively in a challenging, self-directed and agile environment to ensure robust, timely programme delivery.
This role will directly report to the VP – Adour Support.

What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for ensuring that all contracted maintenance activities are enabled and executed for the Adour programme and will be a key team member within the programme.
Ensure maintenance activities are completed within the Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) requirements of the Adour Programme.
Collaborate with Programme, Operational and Planning teams to understand the total maintenance requirements and translating it into tasking for the wider team to ensure delivery.
Manage contractual risk and issues for the portfolio, and identify opportunities that the programme can realise and implement.
Develop strategies to sustain and grow the global network of Defence MRO providers.

An open-minded problem solver, enthusiastic about delivery, who will positively embrace challenge and is able to effectively collaborate across business boundaries.
The ability to consistently demonstrate resilience in a challenging environment and will successfully lead by example.
Recent, applicable experience in an engineering or MRO environment. (perceptive and adaptable) with demonstratable experience.
The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
