Drive brand and margin initiatives within assigned portfolio distribution markets in order to achieve strategic sales growth. Establish and maintain productive working relationships with sales team, distribution partners and key end users.
Responsibilities
Direct and manage all sales activities within the assigned portfolio and market segments • Develop, implement and manage sales, marketing and operational strategies to grow market share within assigned portfolio and relevant market segments.• Establish and maintain productive working relationships sales team, distribution partners and key end-users.• Establish and achieve strategic and financial goals for assigned portfolio.• Achieve revenue, profit and market share goals in alignment with Corporate objectives.• Establish and execute sales strategy that identifies market segments, geographic coverage and profitable sales growth opportunities.• Coach and lead direct reports to be successful in their roles and identify and develop future leaders.• Develop and implement programs and coordinate activities with other sales divisions and/or business units to foster internal collaboration and to improve overall organizational profitability.• Initiate and implement cost reduction and avoidance recommendations; report on variance and corrective initiatives.• Perform all other responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent• 8-10 years of successful sales experience• Strong leadership skills required; previous management experience in leading outside sales teams• Ability to effectively lead and maximize the efforts of a sales team• Demonstrated success in managing increased responsibility and achieving established goals• Strong understanding of sales strategy and the ability to implement and influence to achieve stated goals• Impeccable personal presentation; ability to present effectively and appropriately internally and externally to all levels in an organization• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills• Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines without compromising quality• Tenacity to drive results and achieve established goals• Flexible, conscientious, decisive, persistent, patient, excellent interpersonal skills, high energy, self-motivated• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products & other sales management tools such as Tableau
