Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in air and ocean import/export handling and a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency in Incoterms, CargoWise, and customs compliance is preferred.

The role of the operations specialist is to process and handle air/ocean import and export shipments for our customers, ensuring the highest quality standards while providing service solutions that meet or exceed our customers’ requirements. An operations specialist may also oversee the Customs House Brokerage (CHB) process and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, as well as JAS Forwarding operating procedures. This position may be responsible for the completion of all custom house broker transactions and other government agency regulations in a timely manner.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
