Requires a Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (or equivalent experience) and at least one year of experience in both case management and domestic violence dynamics. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

OVERVIEW
The Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Advocate qualifies and determines the eligibility for program services for clients and community members. Responsible for collaborating with associated agencies in advocating for client needs. Provides guidance, referrals, resources, and support to clients needing lay legal assistance. Advocates for client needs. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Executive Director of Human Resources.
