Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a degree and previous medical setting experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong communication and mathematical skills.
The Home Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of support to the HHD and/or PD
program of the facility by acting as a receptionist for the program. Work involves knowledge of
patient rights and responsibility for creating an atmosphere that allows for the privacy, dignity,
and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works
together with all co-workers and possesses the ability to plan and complete job duties with
applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job-appropriate judgment. Use of tactful and
appropriate communication in all work-related interactions is necessary to promote positive
relations with patients, family members, guests, and co-workers.
