A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field and 5 years of acute care hospital experience are required. A Master's degree, CPPS certification, and 2 years of specific patient safety experience are preferred.

Under the general supervision of the South Bay Director of Risk and Regulatory, the South Bay Community Patient Safety Program Manager designs, implements, manages and evaluates the South Bay Community patient safety program. The program manager may be primarily located at one of the acute ministries within the South Bay (San Pedro or Torrance) but will be expected to work throughout the continuum of the South Bay Community.
