The Monitor Technician assists clinical personnel by performing clerical duties and monitoring cardiac rhythms for patients in the Burn/Wound ICU. They are responsible for notifying nursing staff of critical EKG results and ensuring patient safety protocols are followed.
Candidates must have completed a basic arrhythmia or 12-lead ECG course or possess equivalent work experience. A BCLS or ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
