Travel to patient homes to perform echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients using portable ultrasound equipment. Ensure accurate image acquisition, maintain patient safety, and complete preliminary reports according to protocol.
Requires RDCS or RCS certification with at least 3 years of recent experience in both adult and pediatric sonography. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Travel to patient homes to conduct visits
Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
Perform echocardiograms per protocol on adult and pediatric patients
Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines
Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review
Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments
Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards
Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI .
Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus
3+ years of recent sonography experience, in both adult and pediatrics
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally
Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy and self sufficient with digital tools
Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings
Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments
Time management and organizational skills
