The OR Specialty Technician provides support services to the OR team and performs peri-operative duties under nursing supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining surgical supplies, instruments, and documenting equipment status for autoclaves and fluid warmers.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. The role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to professional growth and patient experience.
Your Job:
The OR Specialty Technician provides support services to the members of the OR team under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform Peri-Operative related duties as required. You will also maintain proper care and storage of supplies, instruments, and equipment used for surgical patient care. Records and maintains required documentation for fluid warmers, autoclaves, and room temperature as directed by OR Manager.
