The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care for ill, injured, or infirm patients under the direction of a registered nurse. Additionally, the role functions as the unit coordinator for the department.
Requires a Technical Diploma/Certificate in Practical Nursing and IV Therapy certification. Must hold a Florida LPN license and BLS certification, with NIH, ACLS, and CPI certifications required within specific timeframes.
