The Patient Care Technician performs routine duties to assist nursing staff in delivering patient care under licensed supervision. The role focuses on interacting with and supporting patients to develop therapeutic relationships and ensure a safe environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and BLS certification for healthcare providers. A Certified Patient Care Technician certification is preferred along with knowledge of medical terminology and vital signs.
