Transport individuals with disabilities between their homes and the Vodec Center using accessible vehicles. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting while maintaining vehicle safety and schedules.
Must be at least 19 years old with a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Ability to pass a background check is required.
As a Route Driver, you will help transport individuals with disabilities using organization vehicles (wheelchair accessible passenger van and/or mini bus). Transportation includes picking up and dropping off consumers from their homes and the Vodec Center. Additionally, staff will assist consumers with boarding and exiting the vehicle.

VODEC is a private, non-profit founded in 1968. VODEC was started when a group of parents, teachers, and elected officials banded together to create a community-based employment program for their loved ones with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Since that day, more families have joined VODEC helping us to create many programs and services.
Today VODEC provides day programs, employment programs, and residential programs in Nebraska and Iowa that are designed to meet the needs of the individuals and help communities reach their full potential!
