The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for assessing patient conditions and performing diagnostic imaging procedures. They also assist physicians with procedures and participate in quality management activities to maintain workflow.
Candidates must complete an accredited radiologic technology program and obtain ARRT registration within one year of employment. BLS training and I.V. certification are required during or before orientation.
Job Summary
Education
Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Experience
Experience is preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology registered or attainment of registration within one year of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. I.V. certification required before or during new hire orientation.

Our acute-care facility on the Porter Avenue Campus is licensed for 219 beds and offers a full range of services. Norman Regional Moore, is a state-of-the-art $32 million dollar healthcare facility in Moore, Oklahoma. Norman Regional Health System also provides outpatient diagnostic centers, medical transport services, physician services, centers of excellence, durable medical equipment supplies, a primary care network, community wellness service and employer health services. We have grown to employ more than 2,700 people and have 356 physicians credentialed on the Medical Staff.
