Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician direction. Maintains equipment cleanliness, manages supply inventory, and provides patient and family education.
Requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or a trade school certificate. Must hold or obtain ARRT or CNMT certification and CT registry within two years of hire.
Full-time, Evenings, Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions). ARRT or CNMT is required. Staff within Sentara CarePlex, must obtain CT registry by 11/1/2016.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
