Candidates must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree and an active Florida veterinary license. At least 5 years of small animal clinical experience and previous leadership experience are preferred.

You'll partner closely with hospital leadership to establish medical excellence across both locations while continuing to practice medicine in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Serving the Miami community since 1970, Sunset Animal Clinic is a trusted small animal practice dedicated to personalized, evidence-based medicine. The hospital offers preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and internal medicine while maintaining a loyal client base and a collaborative team culture.
Since 1989, Hammocks Veterinary Hospital has provided comprehensive veterinary care through wellness services, advanced diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and medical case management. The hospital serves a diverse client population, making bilingual (English/Spanish) communication highly valued.
Together, these hospitals provide an exciting opportunity to lead two established practices with complementary teams, diverse caseloads, and strong growth potential.
