Responsible for preparing, packing, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment using steam or ethylene oxide. Ensures accurate documentation for audits and maintains the systematic flow of materials within the processing room.
Requires a high school diploma and preferably 1-2 years of experience in sterile processing or a hospital environment. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Requirements
High School diploma and 1-2 years Sterile Processing, Sterilization, or Hospital environment experience preferred.
Majority of the work is performed standing. The use of heavy machinery in enclosed areas can lead to a loud working environment. Weekend work will be alternated with employees from the department.
The ability to be able to lift equipment and instrument trays up to, but not limited to, 70 lbs.
The ability to be able to stand for long periods of time.
