The Clinical Medical Director provides clinical leadership and oversight for the care team to ensure patient safety and high-quality, evidence-based care. They collaborate with the Practice Manager to manage clinic operations, provider performance, and strategic financial efforts.
Candidates must be a licensed independent practitioner (physician or advanced practice provider) with at least two years of clinical experience and developed leadership skills. Strong interpersonal communication and the ability to exercise sound judgment under stress are required.

The Clinic Medical Director is a recognized leader and models excellent patient care, accountable communication, and La Clinica's mission. The Medical Director is responsible for clinical leadership within their care team and is ultimately responsible for care delivered by all members of their team, holding patient safety and wellbeing as their primary concern. They will be an example of quality, evidence-based care.
The Medical Director works daily in concert with the site Practice Manager to ensure smooth clinic operations. The Medical Director is a strategic thinker. This includes initiating, managing, and supporting strategic and financial efforts in support of La Clinica's mission and vision.
