Responsible for the credentialing and recredentialing of practitioners and managing enrollment with client health plans. This includes processing applications, performing background investigations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies and medical staff bylaws.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of credentialing experience and proficiency in the Cactus database. CPMSM and/or CPCS certification is required or must be obtained within two years of employment.

The successful candidate, under the supervision of the System Director of Medical Staff Credentialing and Payor Enrollment, will be responsible for credentialing and recredentialing practitioners as well as enrollment with participating client health plans. Credentialing functions include, but are not limited to, processing credentialing applications, following up with payers, and updating and maintaining the CAQH data base. As well as following applicable state and federal requirements for Medicare and Medicaid.
