The Anesthesia Technician assists anesthesiologists with intraoperative patient care, including the setup of lines, monitors, and medications. They are also responsible for the daily maintenance, leak testing, and stocking of anesthesia machines and supplies across various hospital departments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and advanced training in allied health professions. Preferred qualifications include experience in critical care or OR settings and certification as an Anesthesia Technician or Technologist.

The Anesthesia Technician assists the Anesthesiologists with intraoperative patient care through maintenance of equipment and supplies. The Anesthesia Technician applies principles of infection control and safety including proper handling, cleaning, sterilizing, and disposal of equipment or supplies used in regular and contaminated cases.
