The Driver / Transportation Specialist is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation for clients to medical appointments, airports, and treatment-related activities. They must maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and communicate effectively with clinical and operations teams.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma, a valid Florida driver's license with a clean record, and at least 3 years of professional driving experience. The role requires the ability to pass background and drug screenings, as well as the flexibility to work varying hours to meet client needs.
Position Summary
Compassion Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly flexible Driver / Transportation Specialist to join our dual diagnosis treatment program. This position is based out of our Fort Lauderdale facility and is responsible for providing safe, professional, and reliable transportation services for both newly admitting clients and current clients receiving treatment.
The Driver / Transportation Specialist will transport clients to and from our facilities, airports, medical appointments, recovery-related activities, and other approved destinations within a 200-mile radius. Because transportation needs frequently change based on admissions and client care requirements, the ideal candidate must be flexible with scheduling and willing to adjust working hours to meet operational demands.
