The Phlebotomist performs phlebotomy and general laboratory-related duties within a medical practice setting. Additionally, the role involves handling administrative tasks and providing practice support across multiple office sites.
A high school diploma and one year of healthcare phlebotomy experience are required. A certified phlebotomy training program and CPT certification are preferred.
The Phlebotomist-VHCMG performs phlebotomy and general lab-related duties within the medical practice setting. The position also includes administrative and practice support tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with point-of-care (POC) testing, excellent communication skills. While staff is assigned a home site, they may be requested provide coverage at other office sites if needed.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
One year of healthcare/ medical - phlebotomy experience is required.
Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program is preferred.
One year of hospital experience is preferred.
Computer experience is preferred.
Phlebotomy certification (CPT or equivalent) is preferred.
