About the Role:
As a Denture Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in the fabrication and repair of dental prosthetics, including full and partial dentures, to restore patients' oral function and aesthetics. Your expertise will ensure that each dental appliance meets precise specifications and quality standards, contributing directly to patient satisfaction and oral health outcomes. You will collaborate closely with dentists and dental professionals to interpret prescriptions and impressions, transforming them into custom-fitted prosthetic devices. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a strong understanding of dental materials and technologies. Ultimately, your work will enhance patients' quality of life by providing comfortable, functional, and natural-looking dental solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited dental laboratory technology program or equivalent vocational training.
Certification as a Certified Dental Technician (CDT) or eligibility to obtain certification.
Proven experience working in a dental laboratory environment.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and prosthetic fabrication techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in dental technology or related field.
Experience with CAD/CAM technology and digital denture design software.
Familiarity with OSHA and other health and safety regulations relevant to dental labs.
