The Occupational Therapist will conduct functional assessments, document client needs, and coordinate referrals with families and health professionals. They are also responsible for prescribing equipment and recommending home modifications to enhance client safety and independence.
Candidates must hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and possess at least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a community setting. A valid driver's license and eligibility for AHPRA registration are mandatory requirements for the role.

We are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Hobart team. This is a unique opportunity to strengthen and develop your clinical expertise by providing both assessments and therapeutic interventions to adults and older adults across the NDIS and Support at Home funding streams.
Conducting functional assessments and documenting client needs in detailed reports.
Communicating identified needs with clients, families, and service providers, and coordinating appropriate referrals to relevant health professionals or specialists.
Prescribing suitable equipment and recommending home modifications to support client independence and safety.

You have relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
