Every family's journey is different. At Mission Australia, we support families impacted by alcohol and other drug (AOD) challenges to strengthen relationships, improve wellbeing, and create safer, healthier futures. Through evidence-based, family-centred support, we help parents, carers and children build resilience, overcome barriers, and achieve positive, lasting outcomes.
As a Family Support Worker, you will use your case management expertise to provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to families affected by AOD issues. Working collaboratively with clients and partner agencies, you will develop individualised support plans, connect families with specialist services, and empower them to build stability, strengthen parenting capacity, and achieve their goals. This is an opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven organisation where your skills, compassion and commitment will make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable families.
This is a maternity cover position working 3 days a week preferably Wednesday to Friday.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
