The Surgical Technologist manages instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile field. They collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to prepare for cases and provide supportive care to patients.
Candidates must be a graduate of a Surgical Technology program and hold a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is also required.

| Handles instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure, while on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Works under the direction of the physician, Unit Manager, and Chief Nursing Officer. Adheres to all areas of the KHI Behavioral Expectations. Agreement to include standards for Courtesy, Respect and Privacy, Communication, Responsiveness, Teamwork, Professionalism and safety. |
