We are inviting applications from self-employed auditors to join our dynamic team across various seafood schemes. This is a flexible opportunity designed to accommodate a wide range of professional backgrounds and availability.
If you're passionate about auditing and want to contribute to meaningful change in the seafood sector, we’d love to hear from you. The nature and volume of work will vary depending on scheme needs and your individual experience, expertise, and availability.
Whether you're an experienced auditor in seafood certification or looking to expand your auditing portfolio, we welcome your application.
At least two years’ relevant experience. Those with farm experience will be considered for farm audits, while those with processing experience may be assigned to processing plant audits, and so on—ensuring alignment between expertise and audit type.
Desirable:
Prior auditing experience in a relevant field (e.g. aquaculture, supply chain, animal welfare, food safety or environmental compliance).
Lead Auditor/Assessor qualification (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 22000 etc.)
Qualified to audit in a relevant scheme(s) such as MSC, ASC, GLOBALG.A.P., GSA BAP and SPS etc.
A post-high school diploma or equivalent (course duration ≥2 years) in a relevant discipline.
Other relevant training such as in HACCP principles, social auditing or fish welfare.
Over 2 years’ relevant experience.
Second or subsequent languages (other than English).
Key Responsibilities:
Attain and maintain competence to audit in relevant certification scheme(s).
Plan, carry out and document as appropriate assigned seafood audits or related tasks to a high standard and within KPIs.
