Set up and operate Mazak CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications. Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure all parts meet quality standards before inspection.
Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mazak CNC Setup/Operator. Proficiency in Mazatrol and the ability to machine large components up to 12 inches in diameter are required.

NOTE: Select skilled CNC Setup/Operator candidates will be eligible for the discretionary sign-on bonus. Eligibility is based on experience and qualifications, and current business needs. Not all applicants will qualify, and not all individuals offered a position will receive the bonus. Final determination will be indicated with the job offer.
According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $23.00 - $34.00 / hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Precise Tool & Mfg. is a state of the art CNC machine shop with over 80 CNC machine tools at its disposal under 200,000 square feet of roof. Our machine tools vary from 3 axis to 5 axis machining centers with the majority being 4 and 5 axis. Pending the material type we can utilize our high speed machining centers with spindle speeds up to 25,000 rpm. Precise can machine parts from 2 lbs up to 120,000 lbs specializing in both production and prototype machining. Our facility can turn parts from 1 inch up to 18 feet in diameter and mill parts from 3 inches up to 20 feet long. Customer’s electronic files are used for programming our machine tools and to inspect the parts on coordinate measuring machines. With the redundancy in machine tools, our customers never have to worry about a machine going down. On blanket orders/volume orders Precise Tool will maintain inventory and ship parts per your request.
