The engineer will act as a designer on Bus Rapid Transit projects from concept to construction and provide technical support and project management. They will also assist in business development, manage technical staff, and support larger projects as a discipline expert.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline and a P.E. license with 7 to 15 years of experience. Experience working with transit agencies and departments of transportation is required.

WSP is currently initiating a search for Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project Engineers for our South Florida, Washington D.C., and Boston, MA offices.
Act as a designer on Bus Rapid Transit projects at all phases, from concept to construction.
Provide technical support and Project Management on projects or tasks with opportunity to grow, including contract negotiation and managing to a scope, schedule, and budget.
Support larger projects as a Deputy Project Manager, Task Manager, Segment Manager or discipline expert.
Aid local offices pursuing or delivering transit projects with technical expertise, including opportunities to travel.
Demonstrate your skills to the industry through conference presentations and paper publication.
Assist in growing the business by building relationships, writing marketing proposals and providing other business development support.
Management of technical staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline (roadway, site design, traffic engineer).
P.E. License with 7 to 15 years of experience in Bus Rapid Transit projects or equivalent.
Experience working with transit agencies and department of transportations.
Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.

Compensation:
Expected Rate (all locations): $100,000 - $250,000
