We are looking for you to join our team as a Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) Systems Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA. As a Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. In this role, you will work with Chief Mission Architect and peer MS&A Systems Engineers in collaborative small team environments to conduct research and analysis, develop models and simulations, and develop and implement algorithms.
Design and develop complex models and simulations for inertial navigation systems to predict system performance and support design decisions.
Conduct detailed analysis of system performance using simulation tools to identify potential improvements and ensure system requirements are met.
Develop and implement algorithms for inertial navigation systems, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
Analyze simulation data to validate models and algorithms and provide insights into system behavior under various conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models and simulations into larger system architectures and participate in system testing and validation.
Prepare technical documentation and reports to communicate findings, methodologies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in modeling and simulation technologies and apply them to improve existing systems.
Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to ensure alignment and integration of models with overall system design.
