The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing first piece, in-process, and final inspections while writing and optimizing PC-DMIS programs. They must also maintain CMM equipment, interpret technical specifications, and provide support to the quality and manufacturing engineering teams.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of CMM inspection experience and 1 year of independent PC-DMIS programming experience. Applicants must be U.S. Persons eligible for a Secret security clearance and possess a strong working knowledge of GD&T.
Quality Inspector – CMM Programming 3rd Shift
Primus Aerospace is currently seeking a Quality Inspector with a focus on CMM programming to join our Quality team. Primus Aerospace is a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace, defense & space OEMs / Primes & Tier I suppliers. The company specializes in producing high-tolerance, complex geometry parts machined out of standard and exotic metals. Primus works directly with all major aerospace manufacturers (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop) to provide components to mission critical civilian and defense programs.
This role balances hands-on inspection responsibilities with independent CMM programming duties. The ideal candidate is comfortable both performing first piece, in-process, and final inspections and writing, editing, and optimizing PC-DMIS programs to support production and quality requirements.
3rd Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30PM
Pay Rate: $30-$45 (36 hour shift will be paid for 40 hour shift)
