The CMM Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Zeiss CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections on precision aerospace components. They must verify part conformance against engineering drawings and maintain accurate inspection records while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens capable of obtaining a Secret-level security clearance and possess experience in setting up and operating Zeiss CMM equipment. A strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications are required.

Shift: 1st Shift (Mon - Fri 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Compensation: $28.00-$42.00
Position Summary:
Primus Aerospace is seeking an experienced CMM Inspector / CMM Operator to support our second-shift quality team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to perform dimensional inspections on precision aerospace components. This is an operator/setup role—CMM programming is not required. The successful candidate will execute inspection programs, verify part conformance, and perform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections while ensuring compliance with customer and quality requirements.
