The Apprentice Electrical Power Technician will participate in a 12-18 month developmental program to learn the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical components for generators and switchgear. Responsibilities include performing on-the-job training, testing equipment, and adhering to safety protocols while working under the guidance of service leadership.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates possessing electrical experience or an electrical apprentice/journeyman license. Candidates must be able to travel up to 30%, work on-call, and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 30 lbs.
