The Raybird family of platforms has accumulated hundreds of thousands of operational flight hours in real-world environments. Skyeton USA Manufacturing is building its first U.S. production facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with additional expansion planned in Nevada and Oklahoma.

Employees are encouraged to take initiative, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute ideas that directly impact product development and operational success. The organization values adaptability, continuous learning, teamwork, and a strong sense of purpose in advancing aerospace and defense technology.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate supports Skyeton’s aerospace manufacturing operations by safely receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, moving, and shipping materials, components, tooling, and finished products. This position maintains accurate inventory records and ensures production teams receive the correct materials when needed.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Warehouse Associate must be able to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment, follow inventory and traceability requirements, protect sensitive aerospace components, and maintain an organized and secure warehouse.
What you'll do
Receive inbound materials, components, supplies, tooling, and equipment; verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and shipping documents
Inspect deliveries for visible damage, discrepancies, or missing documentation and promptly report issues to Supply Chain, Quality, or supervision
Accurately label, identify, store, and preserve materials in assigned warehouse locations
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other authorized material-handling equipment
Complete company-required forklift training, evaluations, inspections, and operating documentation
Pick, stage, kit, and deliver materials to production work centers based on approved work orders, bills of material, and inventory transactions
Process material issues, returns, transfers, receipts, adjustments, and other inventory transactions accurately and promptly in the company system
Maintain lot, batch, serial-number, shelf-life, and other traceability records as required
Support cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliation activities, and investigation of inventory discrepancies
Package, label, document, and prepare domestic or international shipments in accordance with customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate outbound shipments and maintain organized shipping, receiving, staging, quarantine, and controlled-material areas
Follow procedures for nonconforming, rejected, expired, damaged, hazardous, export-controlled, or customer-owned material
Perform daily equipment inspections and report unsafe conditions, damage, or maintenance needs before operating equipment
Maintain clean, orderly, and clearly identified warehouse locations using 5S and good housekeeping practices
Follow all safety, security, quality, ESD, FOD-prevention, PPE, and material-handling requirements
Perform additional warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing-support duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of warehouse, distribution, inventory-control, shipping and receiving, logistics, or manufacturing experience
Ability to safely operate a forklift; current forklift operator certification is preferred, or the ability to successfully complete Skyeton’s required training and evaluation before independent operation
Experience using pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, scales, scanners, and other warehouse equipment
Basic knowledge of receiving, stocking, picking, kitting, packing, shipping, and inventory-control practices
Ability to accurately read purchase orders, packing slips, part numbers, labels, bills of material, work orders, and written procedures
Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory, ERP, shipping, and barcode-scanning systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory and traceability records
Ability to work independently, follow priorities, and communicate shortages, discrepancies, damage, or safety concerns promptly
Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as business needs require
Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of warehouse or materials experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, manufacturing, or another regulated environment
Current powered industrial truck or forklift operator certification
Experience with ERP or inventory-management systems and barcode scanners
Experience with serialized, lot-controlled, shelf-life-controlled, ESD-sensitive, or export-controlled materials
Knowledge of aerospace traceability, AS9100, FOD prevention, ESD control, or quality requirements
Experience preparing domestic and international shipments
Experience in a startup, greenfield, or rapidly scaling manufacturing organization
