The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for developing new business and managing medium to large OEM accounts to increase market share. They serve as the primary contact for customers, delivering automation solutions and executing detailed action plans to drive revenue growth.
Candidates must be competent in SMC sales philosophies and tactics, with the ability to manage CRM data and calculate ROI. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and willingness to travel with extended stays are required.
PURPOSE
The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for representing SMC in all business activities associated with new, current, and distributor account development. This position also has the responsibility to create and develop new business, new relationships to increase market share and obtain annual growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Retains and profitably grows sales through proactive management of medium to large size OEM accounts
Meet or exceed annual growth expectations on a consistent basis
