The Distribution Design Technician will manage electric distribution projects from initiation to completion, including field assessments and system design. They will coordinate with engineering and operations teams while utilizing GE Smallworld GIS to create accurate service facility designs.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in utility design, construction, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic electrical knowledge are required, along with a valid driver's license for local field travel.

We are looking for a Distribution Design Technician to support the planning, design, and management of electric distribution projects for our customers. This is a hybrid position, with an in-office schedule Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday, along with approximately 30% field work. You will combine project management, customer interaction, field assessments, and utility system design responsibilities. You will create electric distribution and service facility designs using GE Smallworld GIS, a design platform.
