Design underground transmission lines up to 500kV, including routing, duct bank configurations, and cable selection studies. Lead a small project team and coordinate with vendors and clients to develop technical specifications and construction documents.
Requires a BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program and at least 7 years of experience in underground transmission projects. Proficiency in CYMCAP, cable tensioning software, and familiarity with industry codes like NESC and IEEE is essential.
