The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides intensive behavioral intervention services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays. Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT delivers direct ABA therapy services, implements individualized treatment plans, collects and records data, and supports children in developing communication, social, adaptive, cognitive, and self-care skills.
The RBT is responsible for maintaining a consistent caseload, achieving productivity expectations, providing exceptional service to families, and communicating regularly with supervising clinicians regarding client progress and treatment outcomes

Clinical Responsibilities
Provides ABA direct therapy in individual and group sessions in a center-based or home-based setting
Implements individualized treatment plan as written and directed by BCBA.
Collects and graphs data as instructed.
Meets regularly with BCBA Supervisor or ABA Directors, with immediate and timely update, as needed, regarding issues impacting client's progress and satisfaction
Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as required by Soaring on Hope policy and applicable guidelines, rules and standards of care.
Participates in training activities as needed that will provide instruction on Applied Behavior Analysis, discrete trail teaching techniques, management of challenging behaviors, child development and data collection techniques applicable to the client population. In addition to recording and reporting on the behavior of individual children as assigned
Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients
Maintain client confidentiality
Assist BCBAs with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments as needed
Receives supervision from supervising BCBA or ABA Director for each client they work with on a regular basis to ensure program continuity and service consistency
Communicate regularly with coworkers, supervisors, and other health care professionals to foster a collaborative environment
Program Responsibilities
Attend meetings, trainings, or meetings as needed to acquire further knowledge
Maintain RBT certification by completely supervision requirements and passing yearly competency assessment
Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols as written
Must maintain a professional appearance
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioral intervention strategies
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Health, or a related field
Experience working with children diagnosed with ASD or developmental disabilities
Knowledge of DTT, PECS, PRT, and other ABA methodologies
