The tutor is responsible for designing and implementing academic instruction to support student development in specific subjects. They will also collaborate with teachers to reinforce classroom learning and document student progress through statistical data collection.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree or at least 48 semester hours of college credit, or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment. One year of experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred, along with CPR and First Aid certification.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree, or two (2) years of college (minimum of 48 semester hours) from an, or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test and one (1) year of experience working with children in an educational setting preferred. Must possess or be able to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)
Degree Equivalency Formula:Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
