The Facility Educator directs in-service educational programs and ensures compliance with Federal, State, OSHA, and JACHO regulations. They are responsible for assessing staff learning needs, conducting clinical competencies, and maintaining all regulatory education documentation.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of nursing supervision experience in long-term care. Certification as a CPR instructor is required, while certifications in Gerontology or Education are desirable.
