• Temporary full-time opportunity until December 2026
• NSW office location negotiable based in Parramatta/Newcastle/ Orange with flexible working supported
• Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $99,938 to $110,271 + super

 

The role

You’ll be hands-on in keeping procurement systems running smoothly while supporting projects that improve how we buy, track and manage goods and services. The role is about jumping into day-to-day system issues, helping users get what they need, and working through practical challenges like system limitations, competing priorities, and keeping data accurate while new changes are being rolled out.

 

At the same time, you’ll help deliver system and process improvements by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and working closely with stakeholders to make sure outcomes land well. This means balancing operational support with project work; keeping things moving, solving problems as they come up, and making sure the systems and processes continue to meet business needs.

What you will bring to the role

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and adapt to evolving situations. 
• Solid time management and organizational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. 
• High level administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks

 

Key knowledge and experience

• A good working knowledge of procurement processes including but not limited to NSW government procurement policy
• Proven track record of working in an environment where customer needs are variable and the ability to assess opportunities at speed is crucial
• Previous experience of the SAP Ariba System and knowledge of source to contract
• Experience in working with complex, policy focused procedures
• Demonstrable experience in delivering training to end users
