to join KONE IT Enterprise Data & Analytics Unit. The Advanced Analytics IT Product Team builds data and advanced analytics products to empower KONE business functions to make more informed decisions giving KONE a competitive edge.
Product Owner is responsible for the value realized from products in his/her scope. Taking a lifecycle view of products, Product Owner works with stakeholders and end users to understand their needs, prioritize them, and translate them into product backlogs. Product Owner work closely with their agile team(s) to execute the prioritized backlogs. Product Owner takes active part in designing the functionality of the products and their features. Working closely with relevant experts, Product Owner ensures that product operations are planned in line with product value proposition and operations of deployed products are at planned levels.
Product Owner guides product teams to ensure end user and stakeholder needs are correctly understood, and the teams get timely feedback on their work. Product Owner follows product KPIs including operational performance, lifecycle costs and plan corrective actions when needed. Product Owner applies agile, DevOps/MLOps principles and product management practices to maximize life-cycle value and speed of benefit realization. Product Owner regularly seeks feedback from stakeholders to identify improvement needs to product functionality and operations.
As Product Owner your main responsibilities will be:
Work together with stakeholders from business functions to understand their strategic needs and translate them into product roadmap and backlog.
Plan and manage backlog items together with the IT Product Team and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the team.
Contribute to product functional and/or technical designs and guide team members where needed on functional and/or technical matters. Take help from the key members in the team as needed.
Collaborate with other agile teams to plan dependencies and joint development.
Apply agile and DevOps/MlOps principles to maximize the flow of value and responsiveness. Promote continuous improvement to the products and ways of working within the agile team. Follow and address technical debt in the product to ensure continued and sustained operations.
Actively contribute to development initiatives within own team and department.
Ensure that the product operations and performance are as planned, and timely corrective actions are taken when needed.
The desired candidate will have:
M.Sc. degree in a quantitative field, for example machine learning, data science, computer science or mathematics.
Proven track record in applying advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, GenAI to business problems using cloud native technologies such as Databricks and AWS as industrialized solutions.
Ability to translate between business and technical viewpoints.
Knowledge of product management practices, development, and operations to ensure product value and performance over its lifetime.
Familiarity in applying product, design and service thinking.
Inbuilt cybersecurity awareness.
Demonstrated experience of working in global context with agile and MLOps methodologies integrated into ITSM.
Ability to self-organize and be proactive, seek feedback, be courageous and resilient, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills. Excellent command in spoken and written English language.
