As a Sales Consultant, you'll help customers find the right vehicle for their needs while delivering an exceptional buying experience that creates lifelong relationships.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding customers through every step of the vehicle purchasing process, from initial contact and vehicle selection to delivery and follow-up. Successful candidates are motivated, relationship-driven, and passionate about helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
Build rapport and identify customer needs through effective communication
Present and demonstrate Toyota vehicles, features, and technology
Conduct vehicle walkarounds and test drives
Explain financing, leasing, and vehicle protection options
Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom traffic
Maintain accurate customer records within the dealership CRM
Develop business through referrals, repeat customers, and community networking
Stay current on Toyota products, incentives, and competitive offerings
Meet and exceed monthly sales and customer satisfaction goals
Deliver an outstanding ownership experience before, during, and after the sale

Qualifications
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
Self-motivated with a desire to succeed
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays
Basic computer and technology proficiency
Previous sales experience in automotive, retail, hospitality, or customer service
Experience working with CRM systems
Proven ability to meet performance goals
