Supervise the firearms department to ensure strict compliance with ATF, state, and federal laws while managing merchandise presentation and inventory. Lead staff selection, training, and coaching to provide a high-quality customer experience and meet financial goals.
Requires a high school diploma and 3-5 years of retail management experience specifically involving firearms safe handling and classification. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in PC-based inventory and point-of-sale systems.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Manager - Firearms supervises the firearms department within the store to include compliance with ATF, state and federal laws, and company policies and procedures. Additionally, the role is responsible for merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, staff selection and development, team training and coaching, and customer service experience.
