The Director of Fairmont Gold is a vital element in Fairmont Gold’s “level of perfection.” This individual has a dynamic personality coupled with the mindset of a great business thinker. They embody the traits of a politician being able to communicate and motivate all supporting departments regardless of how they fell about the product; the role of nurturer in being able to foster relationships that vary with each Guest. To summarize an effective Director of Fairmont Gold should be the proverbial “Jack of all trades and master of all.”
Competitive Salary: $83,000-$87,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education
Job Duties Include:
Oversee Fairmont Gold operations, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and adherence to Fairmont Standards.
Collaborate with In-Room Dining, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to deliver seamless service and promote Fairmont Gold offerings.
Manage room inventory, upgrades, and special projects using Fairmont Revenue Management philosophies.
Lead, supervise, and develop Fairmont Gold colleagues, maintaining effective communication and service excellence.
Ensure operational accuracy, safety, financial accountability, and continuously improve guest experiences through feedback and innovative initiatives.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in 4-diamond hotel front office operations (asset)
Familiarity with Forbes auditing processes and standards
Proven record of exceeding guest expectations
Leadership skills including team management and supervision
Written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects
Operational knowledge of Property Manager systems (asset)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (asset)
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management (asset)
Knowledge of a second language applicable to the hotel/hospitality industry (asset)
