As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We're looking for a dedicated Director to join our Advisory division, Forensic Expert Witness team and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Director to join our Forensic Expert Witness team. In this role, you'll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in construction disputes and expert witness services, along with knowledge of construction contracts, dispute resolution proceedings and construction project management, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
• Participate in SOCOTEC Senior Leadership meetings
• Represent the organisation in dispute resolution proceedings and liaise with legal counsel as required
• Capable of independently securing and successfully undertaking expert witness appointments
Qualifications
To be a successful Director, you should be able to demonstrate:
• Ability to support and manage team members, providing mentorship, training, guidance and professional development opportunities
• Leading the management of the workload of the FEW team
• Managing project resources to achieve deliverables within budget
