Full job description
Responsibilities
Current intelligence doesn't wait. Peraton is looking for a Senior All-Source Analyst specializing in Current Intelligence to keep USCYBERCOM J2 ahead of the threat — every day, in real time, at Fort Meade, MD.
In this role, you'll produce the daily intelligence briefs and products that USCYBERCOM leadership and component commands depend on to understand adversary doctrine, objectives, and technical capabilities across the DoDIN. You'll work at the intersection of speed and rigor — delivering timely, ICD-compliant products that inform decisions at the highest levels of the cyber command. If you thrive in a fast-paced, operationally-driven environment where your analysis shapes the command's understanding of the threat picture every single day, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
Produce daily current intelligence briefs and products in direct support of DoDIN, USCYBERCOM, and component operations and defense
Articulate adversary doctrine, objectives, and technical capabilities to inform operational and strategic decision-making
Conduct all-source analysis fusing SIGINT, HUMINT, OSINT, GEOINT, and technical intrusion data to develop a comprehensive, current threat picture
Adhere to ODNI and DIA analytic tradecraft standards across all products: ICD 203, 206, 208, and 209
Respond promptly to J2 and USCYBERCOM staff Requests for Information (RFIs) within current intelligence timelines
Coordinate with IC counterparts, USCYBERCOM service components, and partner organizations to ensure current intelligence products reflect the most accurate and complete picture available
Support DoDIN defense and CYBERCOM operations with timely, actionable intelligence products
Author and maintain Operating Instructions (OIs) for Command-wide programs and initiatives
#USCCJ2
Qualifications
What You Bring
Required:
Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with Polygraph
Minimum of 12 years w/o a degree or 10 years with AS/AA or 8 years with BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA or 3 years with PhD
Working knowledge of all-source analytic concepts, current intelligence production, and IC/DoD classification guidelines
Demonstrated adherence to IC analytic tradecraft standards: ICD 203, 206, 208, and 209
Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, assessments, and briefing materials in Microsoft Office formats
Proficiency evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information, recognizing nuances and resolving contradictions under time pressure
Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated grammar proficiency
Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations across technical sensors and HUMINT sources
Preferred:
Experience with all-source analysis tools: Tripwire, Intellipedia, Palantir, MIDB, CyberCOP, Microsoft OneNote
Background in cyber threat analysis, DoDIN defense, or USCYBERCOM current intelligence production
Experience producing daily current intelligence products in a joint or combatant command environment
Familiarity with USCYBERCOM J2 battle rhythm, PIRs, and current intelligence reporting requirements
12+ years of relevant experience, including work within the last 2 years
Master's degree in a related field — or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 additional years of senior-level experience (17 years total)
