About the role We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Wooloowin Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.

What you’ll do
Support the daily running of the service
Assist with child-led, play-based programming
Provide guidance to educators and support staffing needs
Maintain compliance and support administration processes
Engage positively with children, families, schools and the local community
What you’ll bring
A Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards)
Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and administration
Strong communication and customer service skills
A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
Familiarity with the National Quality Framework
