Supervise and engage primary-aged children in before and after school sessions and during vacation care. Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment that promotes children's wellbeing and social creativity through play-based activities.
Candidates should hold or be studying towards a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or School Age Education and Care. A valid Paid Blue Card and current First Aid and CPR certifications are required or must be obtainable.

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Virginia Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.
As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
We’re a not-for-profit organisation with a strong community focus. We’ve recently been awarded government funding through the ECEC Worker Retention Grant that increases your take home pay and we are investing in the training, support and professional development of our Educators.
