About the Job
The YMCA Alexandria is looking for a male facility housekeeping staff to assist the chief engineer in maintenance and cleanliness in the men's locker room and around the building. Are you organized, proactive and have a keen eye for details?Then the facility housekeeping technician position is for you. The YMCA facility housekeeping team set the stage for exceptional service by keeping the Y facility clean and inviting.
Some of the exciting tasks you will do as a Facility Housekeeping Technician include but are not limited to:
Keeps assigned areas including (men's locker room) clean and clear for all YMCA participants
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, and mopping
Assists in set-up for meetings and/or special events
Monitor and maintain cleaning: storage rooms, offices, kitchen, bathrooms
Assist with laundry functions as needed
Respond to accidents, spills, and other housekeeping emergencies
Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
