The role involves implementing algorithms and software to analyze high-throughput omics-based data sets related to pain processing. The analyst will manage large data sets, coordinate research with other institutions, and assist in developing hypotheses and experimental designs.
A bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience are required, with a master's degree preferred. Substantial expertise in single-cell/nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial omics analysis is essential.
Implements: Algorithms and computer software for analyzing omics-based data sets [high-throughput, massively parallel genomic/proteomic/clinical]; Data management and analysis solutions that aid in the storage, investigation and dissemination of large data sets.
Coordinates research project with other investigators and institutions.
Participates in developing hypotheses and experimental design.
Assists with reporting of methods, data and results.
